GODSMACK Frontman Performs National Anthem 'Without A Problem'
January 3, 2006The Boston Globe is reporting that folks who heard GODSMACK frontman Sully Erna rehearsing before Sunday's (Jan. 1) New England Patriots' home game against the Miami Dolphins in Foxborough, Massachusetts "wondered if he was up to singing the national anthem. (He sounded bad.) But being the pro that he is, Erna performed 'Star-Spangled Banner' without a problem."
Erna previously sang "The Star-Spangled Banner" at the Windham, N.H., Baseball-Softball League's Fest-a-Ball event last May.
GODSMACK have finished recording the follow-up to 2003's "Faceless" and are preparing to begin mixing the effort for a tentative late spring/early summer via Universal.
